A Wedding to Remember at The View at Bluemont – Francie & Philipp

Francie & Philipp’s wedding day was a true dream to capture, set against the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The day began at The View at Bluemont, where we arrived early—as always—to scout the grounds, fly the drone, and soak in the beauty that surrounded us. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew this day would be unforgettable.

The couple got ready in their private suites filled with soft natural light—ideal for capturing those quiet, heartfelt moments. As close family and friends arrived, the room quickly filled with laughter, happy tears, and an overwhelming sense of love and excitement.

Their ceremony took place right in front of the vineyard-style overlook. Honestly, no extra effects were needed—the view said it all. After their heartfelt vows and first kiss, Francie & Philipp walked hand-in-hand down the aisle while we captured every joyful step.

Cocktail hour followed, and after a few quick portraits with the mountains as a backdrop, the reception began with a romantic first dance. One of the most emotional highlights came from the father of the bride, whose touching speech moved everyone in the room—us included. The celebration continued with cake cutting and dancing that brought guests to their feet.

The night ended with a magical final song and a beautiful send-off on the patio, beneath the stars.

1. e convenience of having two spacious suites in the same building allowed both the bride and groom to get ready comfortably with plenty of natural light—perfect for capturing those quiet, meaningful moments. Even though they were under the same roof, the layout ensured they remained apart, avoiding any accidental glimpses before the ceremony.
